You'd be hard pressed to find anyone with a good word for a UK BMW main
dealer on here. And certainly not me. As regards independents selling a
fairly specialised vehicle - good luck. You'll not find one with a
forecourt full of them.

Interesting comment, as one can get critical comments about Merc dealers in
the UK and the US.
Maybe that's why MB UK has taken direct ownership of all dealerships in the
London, Birmingham and Manchester areas in a bid to improve service.
Certainly the one I use in Park Royal (W London) is pretty good. Maybe
because it is a workshop only, no sales attached...
Also free MoT tests and discounted service prices on cars over three years
old.
