ok, so here's the deal, my 2001 325 Ci convertible has reached 50 K
miles and it's time to change the shocks after they've been abused by
Massachusetts roads for the last 5 years. the car doesn't handle the
way it used to. first off, I'm replacing the falken Ziex 512 by
Bridgestone Potenza RE750.
Next, I want to put a set of Bilsten shocks and springs. the car does
NOT have the sport package and it's also driven by my wife, so it can't
be too much stiffer than it already is.
Any recommendations for / against the Bilstein springs?
The next question is: do you recommend anyone on the South Shore /
metro west area who would do this work at honest prices?
Cheers,
Lionel

I put eibach prokit springs and sachs shocks on my e36 (with sport
suspension) and the ride quality actually improved. Bilstein have a
good rep but I've never used them. The choice of shocks will have a
big effect on how it rides also.
