I'm not looking to make any money from my site. I'm a BMW enthusiast
and own 5 BMWs. I could care less if you think there are too many BMW
"forums". "I think there are too many internet sites, therefore there
should be no more sites"... really great thinking there. I, like many
other BMW owners, take advantage of DIYs all the time. I made these
DIYs searchable so I could find what I'm looking for quickly and
easily. I was just letting people know that they can use the FREE
forum to search through the DIYs. You need not use my forum as it
seems to offend you. I have found that it is such a waste that there
are so many so called "BMW enthusiasts" that spend all their time
complaining about any and everything. Maybe your time would be better
spent criticizing SOME other car make. It is clear that you have no
"knowledge" that could be diluted here, I suggest you make your own
"forum" that can be devoted to complaining about sites you don't
like.

My - you certainly do get your panties in a bunch easily don't you?
(That question is rhetorical so you don't have to post another run-on
paragraph in reply.)
The DIY's that you have listed are listed in numerous other places and
NONE of them seem to be hosted at your site or written by you. VALUE
ADDED = 0. It appears you just copied the listings of the DIY sites from
other BMW sites verbatim.
No profit? You're running Google AdWord ads at the bottom of your pages.
These pay the website owner based on either impressions or
click-throughs. What charity are you donating all the money these make
beyond the cost of having someone host the forum? Oh - I see you're not
"looking" to make any money - but bet you'd be happy if you DID make
some money.
Your ownership of 5 BMW's is very impressive. I'm simply overwhelmed.
I'm sitting here with my jaw dropped just thinking about how special
that makes you. That alone makes it imperative that every BMW owner
visits your website. I've owned about 10 over the past 15 years, and I
currently own 3, so I guess you're 2 up on me if we're doing a current
BMWs owned pissing contest.
Your forum doesn't "offend" me - it just strikes me as a waste of your
time, and a waste of anyones time who visits it since there is no unique
content, and actually - very little content besides other people's
content that you've linked to. It isn't a place I'll visit again, I
already wasted 10 minutes looking at it - and that's about 9 minutes
more than it deserved.
Tell'ya what - I'm willing to bet that Kia could use a nice forum, and
since you probably already paid for the website/forum software, you
might consider getting the drop on the marketplace.
PS: Paragraph breaks are free on the Internet. You can find one on a key
on your keyboard, usually on the right side and sometimes shaped like a
backwards "L" - it usually says "Enter" or something like that on it
with a funny backwards arrow. If yours is broken, feel free to borrow
any paragraph breaks you need from the ones I used above. They are
reusable so it's in the interest of conservation if you take advantage
of my generous offer.
Just trying to be helpful here.

OK this site is like a FAQ for BMW's. Having watched 4 other BMW
forums I see the same questions coming up over and over again, so you
are adding value here by organising this type of info.
A tip though, the 3 largest markets for BMW are USA, Germany and UK.
UK and Germany now see greater than 50% (around 60% I think) of all
BMW's being sold with Deisel engines. Your site is very USA centric
right now, no info. for the mighty deisel engines and fuel.
The only reason I know what "detailing" means is because someone from
the USA told me!!!

That might be true IF he actually had done the work.. do two things:
1. Google on "BMW DIY" - see how many sites turn up (1,900,000)
2. Go to the first one: http://www.bimmerdiy.com - and look at the DIY
listings.. look familiar? Look at http://www.bimmerdiy.com/e46 - then
look at his E46 page.
Well - doggoneit.. look the same don't they?
He has added NO value at all. He is just trying to cash in on Adwords
listings. Even with his 5 BMW's.

Aren't there any DE/UK specific BMW sites? Would seem a wide open market
if there aren't.

Very impressive searching skills there buddy. If you knew anything
about bimmerdiy or the site that bimmerdiy "borrowed" all of their
links from you might have something. Done what work, all bimmerdiy and
the previous DIY site did was put links to other sites that have DIYs.
Is it that hard to make links? I can show you if you would like.
ARG!, thanks for you suggestions. I'll look into adding some relevant
info for the UK/Germany as well as diesels.

I did take the liberty of reading some of your past postings and it is
quite clear that you are quite arrogant with nothing better to do than
criticize others and rant on in your own special way. Those 10 minutes
were not enough I guess, or perhaps you could not find the search
function, but as I said before the "value added" is the fact that you
can search for specific items (highlighting is your friend) without
having to look through every DIY. Regarding profit, do you think I'm
holding a gun to people's heads and making them click on ads? I can
tell you are some left-wing liberal as you feel that making profit is a
bad thing, maybe you will get over your jealousy one day, or maybe you
will find something better to do with your time then rant on about
other people's websites. Wow, tell me again how many BMWs you have
owned, I think you are the one that is trying to compensate for a lack
of something. I'm also glad that you can tell that everyone that
visits my site is waiting their time, as I know you speak for everyone
including myself. No unique content... HELLO the forum is only a few
days old. The Kia thing is just some more of your endless ranting.
And since it looks like you get off over run-on paragraphs, here is a
nice one for you. You should be able to rant on for quite some time
with this paragraph. Since you are all about giving out advice, here
is some advice for you, GET OVER YOURSELF! PS: are you from Oregon?

That, alone is reason enough for me to dismiss you totally.

Like a big mouth bass - he rose to the hook, swallowed it and is firmly
wiggling on the line..
A lot of blah, blah, blah, blah, barely literate blah, blah..
PS: are you from Oregon?
Bwaahaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I guess I missed the part where anyone was asking for your opinion.
I'm glad to see that you can always amuse yourself... really like the
bass part. You are truly pathetic. Please start your own thread
filled with worthless rambling. I'm sure your eloquent posts of great
worth are in high demand.
