how much for new radiator for E36 328i ?

year 1998 . including parts and labor.not using the dealer.

i have a slight leak near the drain plug where the plastic meats the
alumonum
radiator. wonder if i can get at it on a
lift and epoxy it.that spot
doesnt get very hot.

If you're in the US - look on Ebay autos - the radiator itself goes for
as little as $140 delivered. Getting it installed is a few hours of
labor if you're not up to DIY.. so see how much your independent
mechanic is going to charge you. This would be a good time to do the
thermostat, thermostat housing and the water pump if they've never been
done. And it isn't worth trying to patch the old one - it will just
start leaking again.

That particular model should be available for a little over $200 in the U.S.
The Visteon number is 9970
