Can you tell me what other models of BMW use this brake light plastic holder? Where can I get replacement plastic light holder? Used or new are OK. http://www.angelfire.com/pro/young707/BMWBL.jpg I think this come out from a 1998 700 series tail brake light. It is used only on the 7 series. There are 2 different sizes - one part number says 4 per car, and the other says 6 per car. It's not for the 7 series only. It also may be the wrong one - that's the bulb holder for the taillights on the E36 - the brake lights on the 7 might be part P9002-233421. On my E36 there are 3 different bulb holders. Part P9002-116169 is for the turn signal bulbs (2 per car), P9002-116170 is for the tailights (2 per car), and P9002-116171 is for the other bulbs (6 per car) in the brake/tail/signal/reverse set. Dan Dan, Can you tell me if your 320i bulb holder can be used on the 7 series? Another question, what years for the 7 series brake bulb holders for this P9002-233421? This is in black color. That part was for 1999 model (Bob's link has year=1999 in it, and I just pulled up the other bulb hold part for the same year). My 320 has 3 different colours of holder, with different fittings - one for the taillight (white), one for the fog light (off white), and the rest all have the same holder (black). If you mean can the different colours fit in the spaces of the others and take the same bulbs, no. All the black ones in my car are identical. Dan Dan, so all your black ones are for brake lights, right?
