Hi All,

The clock has ticked, and is now past midnight GMT.  Happy May 30th--
the results are in for Calrog.com's Highway Enthusiast poll:

http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com/poll/0905.php

Thanks to the overwhelming support from the Canadian and British
constituency--these results indicate a diverse spin on Anglophone
interest for highway enthusiasm.  Also worth mention are these
indications:

(1)  37 % of answering participants have traveled more than 4,000
miles from home.
(2)  One's enthusiasm in highway travel doesn't imply that one prefers
flying over traveling.
(3)  About one-third of those participating were above 50 years old.
(4)  6% of answering participants use their highway enthusiasm when
writing their local law-maker.
(5)  A sense of humour on the American constituency, since Interstate
238 doesn't come close in length to Interstate 90. :-)

Full results are listed in the above link.  If you're in the need to
view international photographs and videos on highway enthusiasm,
Calrog.com's Worldwide Highway Library is the clear leader.  Don't
settle for lesser websites that spottily cover the globe, much less
one's own American state; we all know angry pessimists try to keep
things in their own sandbox.

Spend several minutes on Calrog.com's free-to-the-public content at
http://worldwide-hwys.calrog.com, and see what the world has to offer.

Cheers,

Carl Rogers

Looks as if *maybe* a hundred people participated in the poll... hardly a
scientific sample.

Especially since at least 30 of those were me. :)

I, too, relished in the opportunity to fire up a proxy or a dozen to
vote falsely.

This is actually really neat. Its (in principle) that same pointless
vandalism that was so hip back in middle school, but now at least I
know the target is deserving.

'Free', eh? With a big honkin © on every page? Site content generated by me
is has no copyright claims on it. Internet content I've generated isn't
limited to just *my* pages, either. Oh, and I've gotten liks from
Wikepedia, and I didn't even have to make them myself. Fancy that.

I totally used teh opun proxeez to skew the results.

A survey isn't supposed to include trivia questions anyway. You think
anyone who actually responded wasn't going for the cheap skew here?
It's like asking "how long is your peenus" and having "dinosaurean"
have 99% of the results. Scientific? Hardly.

Oh, thank God... I was worried we wouldn't get the requisite site
whoring.

He is, though he likes to pose that he's better than most. Damn sorry he's
inflicted himself on you.
