Scott's always talking about what sloths Prius drivers are so I just
thought I'd relate that this morning I got one at my casual carpool.
She drove like she was on fire, rode people's bumpers, made me check to
make sure my passenger-side airbag was on at least twice, and could have
given racing lessons to Danika Patrick.  So Scott, not all Pruis drivers
are pokey.

Al Gore III has already proven that.

I was at the speedfest in Coronado this weekend.  I drove a fuel-cell
vehicle.  It was very carlike.  There were about 6 different
manufacturers vehicles available.  They had a cutaway of one that
showed the cannister of hydrogen 2" under the rear passenger's butt.

There was an all-electric dragster there too (not giving demos,
unfortunately).  Also an electric sports car in the car corral, with a
generator on a trailer.

The thing about electric motors is, max torque is available from 0
RPM.

And boy-oh-boy, drifting demos in Hemi Chargers.

I'm planning to trade my Corvette in on a Tesla once they hit the
market.
