The Man Behind The Curtain - 27 Nov 2007 07:06 GMT
Driving into the Bay Bridge toll lane the other day, a car cuts across
two lanes suddenly and I slam my brakes.  All because my lane is two
cars shorter than his.  As he gets in front of me, I note his license
plate: "I [Heart] Jesus."  His right signal is still blinking and
continues to blink as he goes through the toll plaza (taking a rather
long time; he was talking and talking to the toll-taker.  What *do*
people talk about so long to the toll taker?) and continues onward, all
across the bridge with his right light going blinkie-blinkie-blinkie.
Finally he exits, with his right blinker still blinking.  Of course, he
exited left...

It seems to me that you experienced a typical day of driving in the
bay area.

Whoever he is, if he keeps driving like that he's going to meet his good
friend sooner rather than later.

Perhaps some kind soul with a cement truck will help him out.

A rule:  Never honk at people like that.  Rather than getting them to move
along it will make them stop, look in their rear-view mirrors, think about
it for a while, get out of the car and look for the person who honked for
assistance...
