So CA-210 has been open from Sylmar to Redlands for a few months now,
and at I-215 the signage is for 210 West, Pasadena/30 East, Redlands.

Not older signs, either. These are definitely new signs. I saw them this
weekend while taking my parents to Souplantation down in San Berdu. (Yum!)

One wonders if it's really a "mistake" ...

Well, this IS District 8; they took a few months to take down the "To Redlands/
East, follow 15 South to 10 East" signs...

I am sure those will be covered up with I-210 shields soon.

Seems like most of the existing signs have state shields covering up something
(probably Interstate shields). I wonder where they are with federal approval
to make it all I-210.

The beginning of the next fiscal quarter maybe?

My observations on the green pull through and ramp signs on CA 210:

Foothill Blvd in LaVerne to Day Creek Blvd - all signs have CA 210
shields covering I-210, although one of the original green ramp signs
for eastbound 210 at Towne Avenue overpass has a I-210 shield visibile
from the EB mainline.   All CA 210 overlays seem to be bolted, so I
guess they will be removed and the I-210 shields exposed.

Recently opened section from Fontana to San Bernardino - no CA 210
overlays spotted, will probably have I-210 shields overlayed.

Wouldn't expect Caltrans to be consistent <G>.

When did they take down the I-10 EAST use I-15 SOUTH signs? Last month
I noticed the sign in Rancho Cucamonga near Milliken was still up.

I wonder if they will also add signs, or greenout, referring to
that section as Foothill Freeway.

I thought they weren't putting names on the signs anymore.

What do you mean about not putting names on signs anymore?

Freeway names.

Example: East Los Angeles Interchange. Coming south on, I forget which freeway
but I think it's the 5...

The signs for the 10 are for I-10/Santa Monica Freeway/Santa Monica and
I-10/San Bernardino Freeway/San Bernardino (interestingly, it doesn't say
10 East or 10 West anywhere)

This is the only place I know of in SoCal that has freeway names on the BGS's.

I seem to recall a BGS on I-5 S in Sylmar saying San Diego Freeway just
before I-405 splits off. It's been a while since I actually looked up at it
and noticed that it was there, though, since I drive through there on mental
auto-pilot.

In fact, at least for I-210, they're actively greening them out (example:
I-5 SB @ I-210 EB, which now just says "210 Freeway").
