Sleeping Beauty

So I'm on the shuttle bus this morning, going from the train station
to my office. The bus is in the single left turn pocket; the light is
red. Next to us in the leftmost through lane is a silver SUV being
Lady Driven.

The light turns green (we have no arrow yet). Cars in the #2 and #3
lanes start to go. Sleeping Beauty in the SUV doesn't budge. 5 seconds
go by. Someone behind her honks. Sleeping Beauty is apparently still
munching on her poisoned apple for she does not stir. Another 10
seconds or so go by. Our bus driver opens the door to the bus and
tries to get her attention. Finally Prince Charming in the car behind
hers LEANS on his horn; Sleeping Beauty awakes, drives through the
intersection, and everybody else makes it through the green light and
lives happily ever after.

The End.

Scott, Scott, Scott...that was no Sleeping Beauty.  You just witnessed
a Wicked Witch of the West in action.  :)

Also...too much realism...no way in h*** that's a fairy tale.

I'm just a little disappointed that no one caught the mistake I put in
there. The poisoned apple comes from Snow White; Sleeping Beauty
pricked her finger on a poisoned spinning wheel.

I guess there are no Disney fans in this newsgroup. :)

You had reason to believe otherwise?

I figured anyone with kids and who remembers those films from their
own childhood might buy the DVDs for their kids. After that, it gets
played over and over and over again until all adults in the house have
every line of dialog completely memorized.

I bet there are people here who can recite every line from the Sponge
Bob movie by heart. :)

At least Spongebob (one word, not two) is funny.

I'm proudly unable to spell Myley Sighrus' name also.
