Your Thomas Guide is incorrect. I commuted thru Upland on 16th street daily (1992-1996) , and it was not posted as Base Line. The bordering communities of Rancho Cucamonga and Claremont posted the connecting streets as Base Line. I was also there last Sunday... still 16th Street. Clarification -- in one area it was called 16th and in other areas it was called Baseline. San Bernardino Base & Meridian, for any legal description freaks out there...
