Well some of you may remember me from a few years back. I knew very little
then, but I'd like to think otherwise. To be honest, I somewhat missed Bob
Wald, and his off-the-wall comments/opinions.

Well I guess I'd like to say that it's good to be back. Since I'm here, I
may as well share with you guys what I'm running.

Kenwood KDC-X990 CD player
Audison SRX2S amplifier for the fronts (180x2 @ 4 ohms)
Digital Designs 6x9 components (wonderful speakers)
Audison LRX 1.1K (600x1 @ 2 ohms)
RE Audio RE8 (takes 175 rms)
Power Acoustik OV1-5500D (3200x1 @ 1 ohm)
RE Audio SX18 (handles a rated 1000 rms)
2/0 Welding cable, as well as 3 batteries

It's come a long way.

Haha.. Ebay cheap. I figure that even if it puts out half of the rated
power, I'm good for doing burps on that woofer.  Other than that the sub
stays near -15 for daily.

I like the head unit especially... nice, but expensive.  I got a Sony
CDX-GT500 and it does it's job but I might buy an expensive kenwood,
like yours, next time.

Dont get me wrong, it's a great deck, but definately has its quirks.
Apparently, I've been hearing, and experiencing the new kenwoods having a
problem with the deck not ejecting CDs properly.

well nice i guess..aint half the system i'm listening to. but alot more
power. why?
yes your system is louder than mine.
if i wanted 5000rms in my car i'd have it.
hell i got 1500rms amps, 4ohm now laying in my room.
not much reason to have over 1100 rms in ya car.800rms sub, 300rms
everything else.....
that cd player if it aint 4v outs or more. help it find the trash can.
my subs pioneer....way ahead of re.
i'm using boss amps on my subs.
riot series.
have acouple eq with 7v outs. unused yet.
waiting on my polk 6x9s.
but thats a ok start..but get over having 4000rms or more..its dumb.
