I really like the list of functionality of this impressive unit. I
want to know if perhaps there is something better or cheaper of
similar functionality.

I have a 4" hole in the dash.

I don't know about cheaper but there are definitely better units out
there. If you can save a little more for an Alpine IVA-W205, I can
guarantee you would be glad you did. I've listened to both and assure
you, there is a huge difference in the quality of sound.

Thanks... Would the difference in sound show with stock speakers?

I do like the fact that Jensen already has a bunch of built in
features like USB and Bluetooth, and I have to buy extras to get that
with Alpine.

Undoubtedly.

Personally, the above features you list mean nothing to me. Buy it if
you really want it, since it's multi-functionality in a head unit as a
whole that you're after. Me, I prefer quality sound, with room for
those never ending system renovations. If I were you I'd hold your
horses on this one.
