sub enclosure

If you match up the capacity of the sub enclosure to the subwoofer you have
exactly, would there be any need to stuff the box if all gaps are already
filled with sealant.

also would it make any difference if the box is ported/sealed

and in your opinions ( i say this because it's most likely subjective) does
a ported box provide sharper sound while a sealed box gives a muddier sound?

No.  There isn't any need anyway.

Yes.

No.  If it did, everyone would go ported.

Make sure your enclosure walls have Zero air leaks between them.  GE
Sillocone works well, make sure you use paintable type if you intend to
paint it.  Ive been using liquid nails with 2" drywall screws.

Yes, Huge difference IMHO.

IMHO its the opposite: Sealed = Clear, low, resonant, controled cone motion,
low efficiency.  Ported = high efficiency, need large enclosure volume for
sub-bass extension.... Something like that
