I need recommendations for an Amp and Sub for my system for under or
approximatly $250. I was thinking about an Alpine 10" Type R SubWoofer with
the Alpine MRP-F240 40Wx4 amp. The reason for the four channel amp is
because I also need amp power for my Alpine Type-R components in the front
doors. I would be willing to buy seperate amps. I just want high quality
components for my system i.e. Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, MTX etc... If anyone
has any vendors or ideas for this plan please reply or email me at
rridgell@gmpexpress.net. Perferably I would like to power my sub from a
seperate amp and then have another four channel to power my Alpine Type R
components and I have a set of Kenwood 10x4s for the rear of my truck. If I
go with my original idea of using a four channel amp in 3 channel mode for
the Alpine Components and Subwoofer then I would pwoer the kenwoods off of
the head unit. Which is a Sony Media Center Receiver :-)!
