Has any one repaired a motorised screen. My CVA1005R will not open fully
automatically but will 'step by step'. I'm thinking could be a bit tight
when sliding out or dust on the slides.

What is the 1005R?  Never heard of it.  How old is the unit and how is it
mounted.  If it is using the cage then it could be a problem with the track
mechanism.  I sent in my wife's 1003 after only 2 months of use in a Tahoe
do to the mechanism slipping and getting jammed.  They ended up replacing a
few parts in it and it now works flawlessly..
