I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with an aftermarket Kenwood CD player
installed.  I recently purchased an Audiovox DVD player with a 7.5
inch Clarion LCD screen.  I connected everything myself with the
exception of the FM Modulator.  Right now, I'm unsure as to where I
should power the FM Modulator.  Would it be OK to splice into the
power supply of my deck to power the Modulator or am I actually going
to have to find another power supply?  Any help would be great.  Right
now, I have my DVD player powered through the extra power supply which
was hidden underneath a cap in the center console.

Thanks
R

Be advised that the digital, crystal clear sound from CD and DVD will be
reduced to FM radio sound if you use a modulator. The signal is fed into the
radio instead of an amplifier. Radio frequencies ar very limited to
midrange. No highs or lows.
