Doing install on 92 jetta with aktiv sound system.  There are 2 amps
stock in it, one in each door...

I got a wire harness from the local car-audio store that allows me to
use the 2 amps and the speaker in each door.

SO,i will end up having,  dash 3.5" running off of deck power, rear 6"
running of off deck power, and 6"door speakers running of of stock
amps in the door.

NOW... thats 6 speakers in total....

am i better to buy 2-pairs of 6" speakers and 1 pair of 3.5"
speakers.....

OR

1 nice componet set ...

Bare in mind the componet will have the mid in the door, ran off of
those stock amps, and then tweet will be in the dash, ran off of deck
power....

so what will be better???  6 coaxials.... or one componet set with
using the door amps?

I was planning on using JL-6" coaxials in the door and rear deck...

advice, commments ?  I dont feel like rewireing the car speaker
wire....so that aint an option (not my car...doing install for
free....)

thanks

I suggest using a good pair of separates and losing the OEM amps. Install
the tweeters in the dash location, the crossovers in the kick panels or
inside the dash and the woofers in the doors. This will ensure that the
separates get the frequencies and power that they were designed for...
