Ok I just sold both of my JL Audio 12W7s and I was looking for a new setup
for my 2001 pathfinder. I want to look for something that kinda musical and
still gets some good spl. willing to spend about 900 on the subs but not if
I dont have too. I was thinking about either 2 jl 12w3v2's wich would not be
that bad and if i wanted to spend a little extra I would go to triple 12w6's
or maybe 10's. I have 2 rockford fosgate 1050s's so power is not a great
concern. Anyone have any ideas or other recommendations? or have heard the
difference between the w6v2 and the w3v2?

Let me get this straight, you want subs that are equally good in both SQ and
SPL ... and you are replacing W7s ? I don't pretend that W7s are the best
sub you can buy, but holy crap, they are very well respected for be a high
SPL sub that doesn't sacrifice SQ. Best of luck, but I just don't see you
finding better subs for less then $900. Maybe you should consider sticking
with the W7s, but building a different enclosure? What were you running them
in?
