Hello, I have a Eclipse 55430 .Its a 2000 model. Been out of the car for
about 3 yrs now. Anyhow, I reinstalled, re-registered it to the new car.
When I called them to reset the ESN, they informed me that I need to ship it
to them to unlock it? $25 + shipping. Is this the norm.? Last time i did
this , I used some combo of keypress and such.What gives? TIA

Glen,

That's what I had to do as well the last time I did the same thing as you.
However, I took mine to the dealer where I bought it and they sent it in,
without charging me anything. Unfortunately, Eclipse took their time and I
didn't get my HU back for almost 5 weeks.
