Hi everyone. I have a 79 450 SLC (5.0). Can anyone please tell me what
size speakers are in the dashboard? I have read 3.5" and 4". Also, any
tips on mounting depth? I was hoping to fit some MB Quarts RKC113 (4")
in the dash.

Thanks for any assistance!

cheers,
paul

They're a metric size, 100mm. You can usually cut down 4" speakers
(110mm) to fit by carefully trimming the two veritcal edges of the
mounting flange. Will also have to play tag with obstructions behind the
dash on at least one side, so magnet dimensions can be critical.
