Hello,

I have the trunk-mounted CD changer from my old 1995 VW Jetta and I'm
wondering if it is possible to mount this changer in the trunk of my
current 2002 VW Passat GLX with Monsoon sound system.  The Passat has
space in the trunk for a CD changer, though the interfaces don't seem
to match.

The cd changer cable in the Passat's trunk has a linear interface, but
the port on the changer from the Jetta has a circular interface.  Is
it possible to obtain an adapter to install the changer in my Passat?
Also, if a CD changer is installed, how is it accessed via the radio
controls?

Thanks.

John

You can get an adaptor to connect to the cable. Several companies sell these
interfaces. They are available at car stereo shops. P.
