I I just recently purchased an Alpine cda-9835 HU. My question is it ha
the special vdrive amp on it. If I am not using the internal amp do
still need to run the 10 gague wiring

i would imagine not becaue the real current draw would come from th
internal amp. im running the cda-9831 with the internal amp and i don
have it wired to the battery and it works great, i know its two step
down (rch bastard lol) from you head unit but with the internal am
activated i cant imagine how the 9835 would draw more current
