Hi all,
I have a toxic TX-1600 amp. It was fine worked fine with one of my subs.
I switched it off and sorted out the second sub, however I did not connect
it. Now whenever I connect the RCA sockets as soon as the outside of the RCA
comes into contact with the outside of the plug the red light lights and the
protection circuit kicks in. Any ideas? Is it solvable?

I don't think so. I will check it out.
When I connect the am at home on a 12 v there are no problems. but I have
looked at the wiring in the car and cant find anything wrong.

I wouldn't wire it with the systems switched on. Are you wiring each sub to
a separate channel

Yep it a 4 channel amp one on channel 1 and one on 3. The bloody thing works
on the dining room table but as soon as I hook it up to my pioneer 6400 it
refuses to work. Very frustrating
