Buy XM they are far more subscribers 1,938,000 per XM Fan. Sirius is under
200,000. The fees are lower, and they are coming out with a new XM produced
box that is going to retail for about $99 in August.

The XM Roady is $99 all over the place. I got a new one on ebay with FM
Modulator and home kit for $90 shipped. You just gotta lookaround.

Dude, Sirius is up over 400,000 and growing. They'll easily be over a mil
by the end of the year.
Not both services are identical as you seem to imply. Sirius has NFL, NBA,
and NHL, as well as (IMO) superior talk and music programming. You get a
lot more for your extra $3/mo. I find XM's music programming to be too
off-the-wall; they seem to play a lot of random garbage for the sake of
playing it. I'll be listening to Boneyard and they'll fill it up with songs
that suck, B-sides from good artists that suck, with the remaining 10% being
genuinely good stuff.
I think XM is great if you're into music you've never heard before, though.
I can see this would have a huge appeal of you're a musician or DJ who has
heard "the hits" ad nauseum. I'd suggest everyone else go check out Sirius
first. www.sirius.com , then check out www.xm.com . Both services let
you sample their music.

Thanks for the reply, Jonathan, but I've already decided to go with
Sirius because I prefer the programming to that of XM.
Any other help?

this is interesting.
I had sirius for a year and loved it..
but now i'm feelin XM. I really like the Pioneer 8600 deck
The cinemagic soundtracks stations sounds good and the VH1 story tellers,
XM is only missing the hockey games.
I am sick of FM i can't listen to it
So if they play alot of songs you don't hear on FM that much, then I'm set
I would recommend Crutchfield.com
or try and cut a deal w/ a local stereo store..they should give you the sirius
tuner for free but you have to pay $50 for the antenna.
How much should labor cost for satellite radio $85?

I got in on the deal when Circuit City was offering the free dock and
the $50 gift card. I went to go buy the same stuff for a gift this
weekend and found that the deal was over as well
I then went to Hi-Fi Buys. They were prepared to give me the 2-for-1
dock deal but unfortunately, they were out of stock of the receiver.
You might want to try your local Hi-Fi Buys/Tweeter store if you have
one.
