I am about to buy two twleves on a tight budget and I have come down t
two choices:

Hifonics Zues (HZ12) for 59.99 on sale at www.sonicelectronix.com

or

Polk/Mommo mm2124 for 79.99 on sale at circuitcity.

They are both around 400 watts RMS, and not much different in price.
have heard of Polk before and think they make decent products, but
don't have any experience with Hifonics.  I have heard it is a good bu
underated company and still I am a little worried to buy such a chea
sub.  Anyway, any advice at this point would help, or if you coul
suggest another good sub under $100 each.  Thank

The best advice anyone can offer you is to not buy any speaker you haven't actually
listened to.

That is doubtless not what you want to hear but only YOU can decide what sound qualities
you like. And to do that you MUST listen to a good variety of them. So take your time and
do it right the first time.

Hoping you find a really excellent sounding sub at the price you can afford!

:)
