I am very limited on space and want to build a quality 8" sub sys.
So far I am considering a JL 8W3 or W6 with a JL 250.1.

Any other ideas?

You might consider the Kicker 8L5 or 8L7. Takes up the space of an 8,
but has approximately the cone area of a 10" round sub. From experience
its really rather a neat little sub capable of lots of output.

I go with an Image Dynamics IDQ8. Haven't heard of an 8" that beats it yet.
