Was just wondering if anyone with this car knows if the doors can fit a
6.5 component speaker in the door? I know a 5.25 does but want the
extra size if possible..

THanks in advance

I recently installed 6.5's in a '92. There was a plastic adapter from the
factory to mount the 5.25's in there. I simply removed it and the 6.5's dropped
right in. You may have problems with the fit of your particular speakers but I
know it can be done.

yes, a 6.5" component will fit in the doors.  the factory basket will
have to be trimmed out and if the speaker is really deep you might
need a spacer.  id stay away from the oversized 6.5"
