What is the correct way to wire a double 2 ohm voice coil for 1 ohm? D
I run the positive to one side and negative to the other, then use
jumper wire from the positive to positive and negative to negative o
what? This is my first dvc speaker. Please let me know.  Thank

if you have 2 voice coils, each having a nominal resistance of 2 ohm and you
want to achieve a 1 ohm load, you would wire both VC's in parallel.

both voice coil positive terminals would connect to the positive terminal of
the amp
both voice coil negative terminals would connect to the negative terminal of
the amp

if memory serves me....1/2ohm + 1/2ohm = 2/2ohm = 1 ohm
