Turn off pop only when using RCA output from an amp

When I run separate RCAs from the HU to each amp everything is fine.
But, I get a turn off pop when I connect the RCA output from my one
amp to the input of the other amp.  The reason why I want to connect
the output of one amp to input of other is that my sub amp is a Kicker
DX350 with SWX crossover modules and I would prefer to use that
crossover vs using the HUs crossover or an external crossover.  Any
suggestions?

The amp with the crossover is probably faulty or designed wrong.  Does
it happen with only the two amps chained together (no HU)?
