I'm trying to decide whether I want to get the Pioneer REV TS-D170R or the Infinity 62.5i speakers for my car. I have listened to both, at different places, and they both sound excellent. Nobody around here has both of them though; so listening to them side by side is out of the question. They will be powered by an external amp at 65 watts RMS. Pricing is about the same through internet retailers. Any thoughts? thanks Jamie For your application, I would go with the Pioneer. Has anyone had any experience with both of these? Which would you choose? OK, then, forget about the specs. How about deciding on which brands are more reputable? Infinity's quality is somewhat better than Pioneer's. But I hear a lot of people don't like Infinity speakers (Kappa series mostly) because they are too "bright". It's really a matter of preference.
