Clarion DXZ problem.  My bad luck, or a common complaint?

As the owner of a brand new Clarion DXZ 545 MP, I'm more than a little
annoyed that the thing skips when playing MP3 CDR's. Worse, it will
quit playing altogether for a couple of seconds, then resume, and even
worse, it scratches and vleeps from time to time. Nearly took out my
tweeters the last time, not to mention my ears.

There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.  It does it intermitantly
on any MP3 CD I play, other times it plays fine for hours.  I know the
CD's are good - I use a variety of brands, all burned on a G4 at 12X,
and they all check out fine on other machines.

So, my question is:  Has this happened to anyone else?   Obviously the
unit is going back, but if it's a common problem that indicates a
design or manufacturing fault, then I won't get it replaced, I'll just
get my money back.

All help appreciated here.

TIA

car, I've never had a problem w/any of them (4 total
6770,DRX9175L,DRX9375R, & VRX935VD),I can't say that it hasn't happene
to someone else, but I've never heard of it before. It's probably jus
an isolated insadent. I would give it in for warranty work. Clarion'
one of the biggest names in the game for HUs

How many times are you going to post this? I awnsered this (FOR YOU
last week. In a nutshell.... It's just your bad luck. Clarion makes on
of the ,if not the, best HUs on the market
