Ok, so I am slowly making progress on my install. Got the 4ga wire ran from
amp in trunk to battery, fuse holder, battery terminal and ground lugs all
installed today. I need to run the RCA interconnects from HU to trunk, and
am planning on running the Riot-Gamma wires from amp to front door speakers.
I know not to run the RCA's next to the power line or I get alternater
whine.
So what about speaker wires near the power wire? Can I run the passenger
speaker wires down near the power wire or do I need to run both speaker sets
down next to the RCA interconnects on the driver side, cross over under the
dash, and out to the passenger door?
Newer cars are so damn crowded with stuff, its amazing how hard it is to
route things, and I was hoping for a short-cut. NOT at the expense of
alternater whine tho.
Thanks for your responses.

It really shouldn't matter either way. You've got the interconnects and the
power wire separate...that's the big thing.

I would agree, that it only matter where the RCAs are run, but....you might
as well run RCA and speaker wires together. Just keep them from the power
wires.
And just so you know. You can get engine noise from multiple grounds as
well. So keep your grounds as close together as possible.

Actually, IME, running the RCAs alongside the power wire isn't a big deal
either. I think there's sometimes too much emphasis put on where you run
it, crossing at right angles, and such. I'd prefer to run all the wires in
a part of the car that is less crowded or less prone to being trampled on
than other parts. In some cars, that means one side.
