Yeah... I did some research on my own... It's going to cost him at
least $50 US Dollars. I told him that for that amount, he'd be better
off buying a NEW cheap CD player. Thanks for the help anyway!

If in the US I can supply it for a lot less but better to find out if
it works first.
I think those units used a sony CD mechanisum and they failed a lot.
Shorter row one end ground (find with ohmmeter) longer row one in above
ground side is Batt, other end of longer row is ACC.
See if CD plays?

I've seen his CD player, and I've come to the conclusion that he
actually WOULD be better off with something new and cheap... Plus,
he's had the player in a box in the attic (or storage of some sort) for
a couple of years now. The only reason he got it out was because I
told him I could plug in a CD player in his car (I hang out with a
bunch of not-so-mechanically inclined people)...
