Okay.  I'm sure you're all just dying to hear me tell you how happy I am
(again) with my new CD player, so without further adoo...

I have NEVER heard so much detail and articulation in my entire life.  All
of my favorite music that I've listened to hundreds of times and know very
intimately has suddenly come up with new material!!  Saliva under the tongue
of Tori Amos when she's trying to carefully articulate!!  I've heard it on a
few of her songs before but now it's even more evident to the point of
sending shivers through my body.  And on several of her songs I can now hear
little blurps when one of the musicians barely (on accident or on purpose?)
taps a guitar string in the middle of a rift...just little tiny sounds that
aren't part of the song per se, but caught on the recording nonetheless.  I
chose Tori as some examples because I'm so familiar with her music, but it's
present in pretty much everything I listen to.  It's absolutely amazing.

This frickin' Clarion deck is hands down the best head unit I've owned
period.

In addition to everything nice I've said about it previously, I have to add
one more thing: The ability to tweak EVERY sound parameter is possible with
the remote control.  So I don't even have to lean forward (thus moving out
of my "sweet spot") to adjust the sucker.  I'm sure a few of you can
appreciate this.
