Is this sub more than I need. I'll have 440 watts rms at 4 ohms from a
bridged Hifonics amp. The 12" TS-W3004SPL is rated 3000watts max / 1000
nominal. Pioneer also has their 12" TS-W306C sub rated at 1000 watts
max / 400 rms at 4 ohms. Which do you think would be better matched to
the Hifonics amp. Thanks

Well, The info u gave about the TS-W3004SPL is false... It acually ha
a 750W Nominal. This will eventually blow that amp (correct me if i
wrong) and wont sound as good. IMO i'd go with the TS-W306C and run i
on that amp

if it was me i'd go with the more efficient sub and just set my gains
correctly, you can run tweets off a 20,000,000W amp so long as you keep
your gains down (ok i was exaggerating, but you know what i mean)
