Guys,

I haver a Sanyo amp from Ebay so no intructions :( ... The amp is 2x50
bridgeagbel and has a switch from high to low input..

I want to use the amp for my PA speaker and need to feed the PA out
from my CB radio into the AMP which will then amp it for the PA
speaker....

The CB has somehting like 3W amplification for that PA out...

Would that work or is it too much power to feed inan amp?  If so what
can i do to make a low input out of a high input?

Thanks

Matt

I think yer gonna blow up your PA speaker doing that - they aren't
typically designed to take any huge amount of power.

Not to worry here! We are talking about 100 W Police car PA speaker :)

It wakes up the neighbourhood ... works great with a normal low input
from the CD but I am not sure how to rig the PA in there which has no
low output

You should be able to feed the speaker output of the CB into the
high-level inputs of the amp, but only if you don't have anything else
hooked up to the inputs.

actually the inputs are the same RCA's it has a switch to switch from
high to low...

Could I connect lows from the CD and highs from the CB and have  switch
that switches the inputs and hook it up so it also "switches" high to
low?

You could use an external switch of some kind, but you'd have to also
toggle the high/low switch on the amp...
