stupid questions here...
theres no sq woofers.just round ones with corners added.
protect speakers from moisture.theyre made to not be effected by that.if
its a good brand.

Nothing protects speaker terminals from moisture. Even when the wires are
soldered on, enough moisture will corrode the terminals and creep under the
wire's insulation at the point where it was stripped.

about the speakers lasting... it sounds like to me your real question
is.why doesnt speakers last forever????
of coarse wetness will hurt parts of ANYTHING made out of METAL.over
