I have a 1996 explorer with the JBL sound.  Recently my sub stopped
working, no sound at all.  I replaced the sub about eight months ago,
now I'm not getting anything from it.  I checked the wires to the sub,
and they are connected.  Any suggestions???

sproat330,
Have you check the amp ground.That will do it.Also make sure your amp
is even working

Are you saying that the new sub worked perfectly for eight months, then
quit just like the other (old) sub?  If that's the case I'd want to
know what your amp is rated at (how many watts [rms, I don't give a
crap about peak] at how many ohms), and what your subs are/were rated
for (same).....
