I have a old Pyramid EQ that, when it gets hot out and gets worked
pretty hard starts transferring all the signal to just the right-side
speakers, front and rear. Is this just a sign of overheating? When i
notice this starting to happen i simply just turn on the floor vents
and run some cold air by the heatsinks on the back, but was just
wondering if there was any other possiblities? Or if this could be
solved in anyway?

Sounds possible. Amplifier EQs are way overworked and get hot just lik
high power decks. You can cheat with them though and I have ha
reasonable results at times. I have used two, one for speakers and tur
the last bass slider way down then it goes louder. Then get a cheap am
with LP in it, or another big EQ and do the opposite on subs....or us
one of those powered tube/etc subs. It is a small amp afterall. Or i
might just be failing

I was wondering how hard it would be for me to wire on a 12v mini fan
to the back? There is a power wire running right into the back of the
EQ could i just wire that directly into that? The EQ only runs four
speakers, it doesnt control what goes into the subs, like i said it is
pretty old. Thanks for the suggestion so far.
