Google is your friend. A search for "FM Radio India" revealed many
entries.

The US uses FM broadcast radio frequencies in odd numbers. See this
reference:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FM_broadcasting_in_the_USA
Other parts of the world use even frequencies. Some radios can be
adjusted to receive either odd or even frequencies, look in your radio
manual. It looks like India uses both Odd and Even frequencies.

In North America we use a 70 micro second pre-emphysis on FM audio. Most of
the world uses 50 micro seconds. Thus you may have to turn the treble up a
bit. There may be a switch for this in the unit.
