CalBog has been polluting Usenet with grand pronouncements about his
latest obfuscation of his site. A little putzing around reveals the
following: You can hotlink his snaps under Firefox(and most likely
Seamonkey; and possibly Google Chrome-I have yet to try that.). The
'hotlink protection' does work under IE (6 through 8, including IES For
Linux) and Opera. You can still save the pictures from either browser.

Gosh, Carl, guess you better get cracking on hotlink protection for
Firefox; and THEN 'emboss' the lot; and unprotect them. Given your pace
and quality of your work, you should have it all sorted out by 2025.

Speaking of site obfuscation; if you hit the 'Close This Window' link on
any page; you go right back to the front page. Nice way to gin up hits,
that. You can't say, continue looking at a particular subject(like Italy,
for instance). It doesn't matter, anyway; since for all the hierarchical
organisation of the front pages; it would appear that CalBog dumps
everything into one directory; with no particular logic to filenames or
anything.

And starting alot of shouting matches which I - very regretfully -
have been too prolific in...

Not surprised. IIRC, Firefox and Seamonkey don't have all the coding
and the, "bells and whistles," that IE does. Leads one to wonder if
the, "bells and whistles," are for the user or the website operator.

Oh, he'll come up with something new before then to continuse his
chumming of the waters well beyond then...

Especially laughable if the window with his page on it is the only
window that is open....
