Well, today, a bill - HR418 "Real ID Act of 2005" has been introduced
by Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner, JR (R-WI) that would rapidly
implement a harsher National ID through your driver's license than the
measures that were signed into law in the Intel bill under the 108th
Congress. There are 115 co-sponsors of this bill. It will be riding
the "train" on one of the spending bills to go over to the Senate. No
one else wants this such as the Senate or President Bush. The House
leadership needs to be told no ! They lost when they tried to push
this in the Intel bill last Fall.
Included in the bill is Sec. 203 which will mandate that states must
participate in the newly created Driver License Agreement (DLA) as put
forth by the American Association of Motor Vehicle
Administrators(AAMVA). This is one of the onerous license provisions
that were stripped from the Intel bill.
The AAMVA is very aggressive in getting states to join the DLA. Only
one state is a member which is Connecticut. The DLA would require all
motor vehicle violations be posted to your driving record especially
violations from other states and Mexico/Canada. Some states only post
violations that incur points where as other violations such as
seatbelt, window tinting violations would not be recorded. Some states
choose not to put out of state offenses on your driving record like
Colorado and New York. Colorado only post tickets that incurs points
and out of state tickets are zero points, therefore, no record. This
DLA would require points for and record of out of state tickets. Even
non-pointable offenses like equipment violations would also be
required to be on your record as well.
In addition, the DLA would allow your driving record be accessible
anywhere within North America ranging from Mexico near Belize all the
way to St. John's Nfld or Whitehorse, Yukon. Also tickets from those
places would go against your driving record with points.
On the AAMVA, they are a private corporation who are composed of motor
vehicle and law enforcement executives. They are an organization that
decides motor vehicle policy for the US states and Canada but yet,
they are not subject to the open door or sunshine laws of many states.
Go to their web site -> http://www.aamva.org and many parts of the
site is username/password protected. Since their doors are closed,
they should be either disbanded or forced to open their doors for
public scrutiny. This organization needs and deserves scrutiny !

The CEO Council supports HR418. Any views that disagree are not
permitted. Dissent against the government will not be tolerated. We
here in the CEO Council support all government initiatives that
restrict freedom. When you speak on laws, yhou are to support laws, not
speak against them. We support the Driver License Agreement. In fact,
Connecticut is a state for Corporate Executives and old money, that is
why it is a member. It is also a "Member's Only" state. Other states
will be made for "Member's Only" to where only corporate executives and
the elite can afford to live but anyone else are locked out. California
is also a "Member's Only" state as well. We plan on turning states like
Montana, Colorado, Wyoming into a "Member's Only" states.
We here in the CEO Council are desiring a return to a time where the
Elite are respected in Society, not sneered at. The American People
will be corrected and disciplined for not voting for John F. Kerry, a
member of the Elite.

Not that your likley to pay attention to such things, but Kerry wasn't
elite enough to get elected. If by elite you meen "those in power" you
might want to try removing the tinfoil hat and reading a newspaper.

Wow. If this bill goes through, then my drunken binges in Tijuana
could catch up with me in White Horse. This threatens my ability to
act irresponsibly and must be opposed. I must not be held to account
for my misdeeds.
