I'd be interested in hearing from any former or current members of the
NMA. Has membership been useful, helpful or in some other way valuable
to you? If so, how; if not, why?

You can pay $5 to get access to some of the members-only areas.
That was useful for me.

So how did your trial go?
ksternberg1@yahoo.com - 07 Apr 2005 16:12 GMT
Ah yes. My trial is set for April 8th. I believe I have a decent chance
of having the charge dismissed, based on the strategy I[m planning.
Superstition prohibits me from being specific right now.

How come the prosecutor didnt offer you a deal? Do you have a clean
driving record?
ksternberg1@yahoo.com - 07 Apr 2005 19:55 GMT
This isn't exactly on topic here, but...

The prosecuter has not yet had the chance to offer me a deal, given
that we have not yet met officially in court. I did get a ticket for
going through a red light, but that was more than six years ago.

How did things turn out?

Well, I was extremely well-prepared with cross examination questions,
case law and a clear goal of my strategy. I would like to say I was
brilliant, but the trooper involved failed to appear and my case was
dismissed.

Good for you.  Keep in mind that all the work you in preparing a defense
could be mostly re-used if you ever get another ticket.

If, at any time during your first year of membership, you are
dissatisfied, you'll receive a full refund.

The NMA is as crooked as they come.  Don't hold your breath waiting for
your refund.

I have been a member for 5 years and am very happy.

Unless you were happier with 55 mph national speedlimit they got repealed.

Did you have a bad experience with them?  If yes, please state the facts.
Just making accusations with no facts to back them up only makes you look
bad.

Don't hold your breath waiting for "Furious George" to produce evidence.
As far as I can tell, he/she/it is the same person as Laura or possibly
Midnight Dad.

fight for motorists rights.
