HHR, the new Durango?

Am I the only one who sees the ads for the new
Chevy HHR and wonders why they chose to
update the Dodge Durango? Same front fender
lines, rear tail lights look like a natural progression
from current Durango. Is GM that out of ideas
that they are adapting the "Daewoo" design
theory of wholesale plagerism?

I was thinking it looked similar to the PT Cruiser. Both cars were
designed by the same guy.

That was my first impression.  Second was that it had a lot of retro
style back to the original panel wagons of the 50s.  For sure not a
vehicle I would walk across the street to consider buying.
