Someday people will come around to my thinking that the only way to deal
with this problem is police car mounted rocket propelled harpoons (and I'm
not joking).  That will be the day police chases end.

Hell, we've had technical solutions for this since before cars were around.
The Sharps 45-110 comes to mind.  The M1 Garand has plenty of firepower to
play hell with all sorts of things under the hood of damn near any car on
the market, and a reasonable rate of fire, too.

Why? That's just the address for an mail-to-news gateway. Nobody reads
mail sent there, unless there is a "Newsgroups:" header, and then the
only result is even more spam in those newsgroups.
