You don't have those? I thought that quite a few (marked) cars had
"push bars" on the front of them, or is that an east coast thing?

Well yeah, we do have those flimsy things on our cars but if you try to do
anything other than push a disabled car off the road at 1 MPH they'll end up
in your grill.

That kinda defeats the purpose... maybe you could retrofit the front
bumper from a tow truck? :) (you'll probably have to disable your
airbags though...)

If only it were that easy... I'm sure you'd run into handling issues with
something that heavy. Oh, well.... we can still shoot at them... :o)

Now, jaybird... What if that car you shot at went out of control and hit
an innocent pedestrian on the sidewalk....

To me the worst are the ones who refuse to give way to any emergency
vehicle on a call with lights/siren (this includes ambulances and fire
trucks as well as police cars) that I see all too often. 9 to 1 says
that if these MFFY pricks were the ones in need of the services, that
they'd expect others to move over, but they can't be bothered to do the
same themselves.

That's why I always assume once I see the first one with lights/siren go
by that there will be more behind him (or ambulances or fire trucks) and
keep to the right and an eye on the mirror for a while longer.

I thought that police cars already had something like that on them (at
least the ones here have them). Its a metal guard that follows the shape
of the bumper and attaches to the frame of the car behind the bumper.

Yeah, yeah... all the what if's...

Of course.

Unfortuately the soccer mom with the cell phone stuck to her ear doesn't pay
that much attention.

We have those too. As I said in my last post, they aren't very practical
for moving cars out of the road at roadway speeds and a fast closing rate.
It was more of an exaggeration...

Solution: Give the little f.cks the headphones! I have no need to
listen to anymore Teen Titans videos while driving, so I have the
radio, they have the headphones.

CLARK COUNTY
Woman's Arm Severed In Car Accident
A Letcher County woman suffered a horrible injury early Thursday when
her arm was severed in a car crash on the Mountain Parkway in Clark
County.
Jacqueline Dotson and her six-year-old daughter had to be cut out of
their vehicle after the accident in which Dotson veered into the median
and over-corrected, rolling her truck over the guardrail and landing
upside down after flipping several times.
Several people stopped to help, and it turns out, the good samaritans
may very well have saved Dotson's life. Sheila Vice, a nurse's aide,
and an off-duty EMT from another county stopped to help, and put a
tourniquet on Dotson's arm to stop the bleeding. Her arm was found near
the accident still clutching a cell phone.
"Basically we stayed there and talked to them until the EMT drivers got
there," said Vice.
Rescuers used the jaws of life to get the Dotson and her daughter out
of the truck. Both were flown to hospitals, and Dotson is listed in
serious condition at UK Hospital. Her daughter is not in the hospital,
and sheriff's officials say they believe she's going to be fine.
Both were wearing seat belts.

In a lot of cases, I would agree with that!!
