More stupid cop tricks for Jaybird...

Ok, keep your panties on.

First, I heard on the radio today that the cops pulled over a car full
of drunks.  They all got out (unknown how many) and the cop had to ask
them to get back in the vehicle.  The driver refused.  The cop had to
pull his gun.  He told the guy to get back in his vehicle.  The guy
told the cop to go ahead and shoot.

Eventually, and presumably with a lot of backup, the guy was cuffed
and hopefully arrested for drunk driving, and being a public moron.

Around the time I heard this story I was driving on a state highway
through a decent sized city/town.  Speed limit 35MPH.  Two lanes each
way.  Nobody able to get up to 35 because of LLBs and RL sloths.  I
hear a squad coming up behind me at a VERY high rate of speed.  He is
using lights and sirens.  Do the fucktards in front of me move over?
Not a chance.  They apply the breaks, slow slightly, and swerve
towards the right lane, back to the left, repeat say 5 times.

Cop has to go into oncoming traffic to get around them.

OK, this really pissed me off.  So I turn on my brights and get behind
the closest fucktard and shine the lights into his driver's mirror.
He simply proceeds up the road in ignorance.  Now while fucktard is
driving slowly in the left lane, he never quite made it over, traffic
ahead has cleared enough for me to see a rather large gap ahead of
him.  So I ride the yellow line as kind of a "hey moron, did you
realize how f.cking stupid you are" kind of statement.  As I do, I
watch as the cop continues to pass cars NOT IN THE LEFT LANE but in
the South bound traffic while he is driving North.

Why?

Because fucktard after fucktard refuses to move over for him.

f.ck f.ck f.ck.  The cop is hauling a.s, at least as much as he can
before he catches up to the next idiot, he obviously is going
somewhere that he feels is important.  Even if you believe it is
another donut shop or something, HE IS USING HIS f.cking LIGHTS AND
SIRENS.

Get out of the way you idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so maybe the subject is just an attempt to "troll" a bit to get
Jaybird to read this.  But the point should be made that while I do
criticize cops, I also criticize civilians, and far more harshly.  I
know the first cop couldn't, but I really would not have cared if he
said to the drunk "Ok, have it your way" and shot the bastard.  Well,
at least not too much.  I applaud him for maintaining whatever control
he could while managing to simply arrest the retard and not kill him.
And the second example, well it was a show case of fine police driving
in the worst of situations.  The only complaint one could have is that
the cop should have shot out the tires of everyone that refused to
move over, and had local police (he was county) come after him and
arrest or draw-and-quarter the bastards.

So, Jaybird, other than the blatant attempt to troll you into this
message, you have to admit that I am being fair in criticizing both
cops and civilians when I see them do something that I perceive as
being unsafe.

Thank you very much.  I'm glad that it was that apparent and yes, every one
of those cars should've been shot at.  :o)

What's even worse than that is the LLB who moves over, only to move back
once the cop passes and guess what...... there's another cop behind that one
who has to go through the same thing.  We need big steel bumpers to just
knock people out of the way.

You don't have those?  I thought that quite a few (marked) cars had
"push bars" on the front of them, or is that an east coast thing?

Well yeah, we do have those flimsy things on our cars but if you try to do
anything other than push a disabled car off the road at 1 MPH they'll end up
in your grill.

That kinda defeats the purpose...  maybe you could retrofit the front
bumper from a tow truck? :)  (you'll probably have to disable your
airbags though...)

If only it were that easy...  I'm sure you'd run into handling issues with
something that heavy.  Oh, well.... we can still shoot at them... :o)

Now, jaybird... What if that car you shot at went out of control and hit
an innocent pedestrian on the sidewalk....

> What's even worse than that is the LLB who moves over,

To me the worst are the ones who refuse to give way to any emergency
vehicle on a call with lights/siren (this includes ambulances and fire
trucks as well as police cars) that I see all too often. 9 to 1 says
that if these MFFY pricks were the ones in need of the services, that
they'd expect others to move over, but they can't be bothered to do the
same themselves.

> only to move back
> once the cop passes and guess what...... there's another cop behind that one

That's why I always assume once I see the first one with lights/siren go
by that there will be more behind him (or ambulances or fire trucks) and
keep to the right and an eye on the mirror for a while longer.

> We need big steel bumpers to just knock people out of the way.

I thought that police cars already had something like that on them (at
least the ones here have them). Its a metal guard that follows the shape
of the bumper and attaches to the frame of the car behind the bumper.

Yeah, yeah... all the what if's...

Of course.

Unfortuately the soccer mom with the cell phone stuck to her ear doesn't pay
that much attention.

We have those too.  As I said in my last post, they aren't very practical
for moving cars out of the road at roadway speeds and a fast closing rate.
It was more of an exaggeration...

And/or the inane noises from the DVD player in the back...

Solution:  Give the little f.cks the headphones!  I have no need to
listen to anymore Teen Titans videos while driving, so I have the
radio, they have the headphones.

CLARK COUNTY
Woman's Arm Severed In Car Accident
A Letcher County woman suffered a horrible injury early Thursday when
her arm was severed in a car crash on the Mountain Parkway in Clark
County.

Jacqueline Dotson and her six-year-old daughter had to be cut out of
their vehicle after the accident in which Dotson veered into the median
and over-corrected, rolling her truck over the guardrail and landing
upside down after flipping several times.

Several people stopped to help, and it turns out, the good samaritans
may very well have saved Dotson's life. Sheila Vice, a nurse's aide,
and an off-duty EMT from another county stopped to help, and put a
tourniquet on Dotson's arm to stop the bleeding. Her arm was found near
the accident still clutching a cell phone.

"Basically we stayed there and talked to them until the EMT drivers got
there," said Vice.

Rescuers used the jaws of life to get the Dotson and her daughter out
of the truck. Both were flown to hospitals, and Dotson is listed in
serious condition at UK Hospital. Her daughter is not in the hospital,
and sheriff's officials say they believe she's going to be fine.

Both were wearing seat belts.

In a lot of cases, I would agree with that!!

You might be intrigued to learn of a civil damages (gunshot wound) case
handled by an office mate of mine.  In it, the words, "Go ahead, f.cker
- shoot me!" were deemed to be *permission* to do so.

Sometimes, big overbearing morons get exactly what they deserve.

Sort of like what this lady (Barbara Simpson, IIRC) who used to sub for
Art Bell on his show used to close her show with: "Be careful what you
pray for. You might get it."

Quite cool.  Sometimes, I guess juries and judges do get it right!
:-)
