That would not be interesting to see people starting to decelerat a mile from a traffic signal anticipating it turning red when they get to it. Talk about gridlock. In my city the traffic lights are timed reasonably well. Unfortunately we've got too many retarded citizens who can't figure out how to time their acceleration correctly. This results in a lot of unfortunate motorists behind them having to sit idling at traffic lights.
