Speeding, hit-and-run, kills a guy,  and it appears no drivers
license.  Bet he never does a day in prison.

http://www.knoxnews.com/kns/local_news/article/0,1406,KNS_347_4650814,00.html

By NEWS SENTINEL STAFF  April 26, 2006

A speeding Oldsmobile carrying four 15-year-old boys crashed head-on
Tuesday night into an oncoming Nissan in East Knoxville, killing that
vehicle's driver, a Knoxville Police Department spokesman said.

The boys tried to flee after the crash in the 2600 block of Linden
Avenue but their injuries prevented them from getting away, KPD
spokesman Darrell DeBusk said.

They were being treated Tuesday night at University of Tennessee
Medical Center.

The crash occurred about 6:25 p.m., DeBusk said.

Witnesses told investigators the 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass was speeding
westbound on Linden before the collision. The car struck a 2005 Nissan
Altima, slamming it into a utility pole. The Olds flipped on its top,
slid along the roadway and hit a parked van.

The Nissan's driver was dead at the scene. His name was not released
pending notification of family, DeBusk said.

The driver of the Olds was identified as DeShawn O'Keefe of Knoxville.
He appeared to have neither a driver's license nor a learner's permit,
DeBusk said.

DeBusk identified two passengers as Marcus Carmichael and Deangelo
Tucker. The third 15-year-old passenger gave police two different
names so authorities aren't sure of his identity, DeBusk said.

Why do you expect him to get off Scott free? If his parents were
connected, then that line would be justified, but the article doesn't
indicate that. Lots of fifteen-year-olds do time.

If he had been caught with some illegal drug, he might get 20 years.
But killing someone by reckless driving doesn't really count as bad in
criminal coddler america.

Depends on quantity. Also, possession is equal to intent.

Can't prove intent, moron.

This is no joke. Bush has gotten away with stealing two elections and
blowing up WTC and lying america into war.  So don't put a third term
attempt past him. I mean who's gonna stop him. The democrats and the
media are totally bought off.

You're exactly right.  I agree with your assesment that Ted Kennedy
should be behind bars for life.

Poor Mary Jo.

You may be right but the case against Laura Bush for vehicular
manslaughter is much stronger.

Care to put that to a vote, fool? Seems like more people believe Ted
Kennedy is guilty than Laura Welch.

Most people don't even know about the laura bush murder spree since
the corrupt M$M has censored the story. THINK

I do think; sorry my thoughts aren't delusional enough for your liking
and comprehension. BTW, you might want to look up the definition of the
term "spree" if you're capable of it, EPL! :))

Idiot.  Yuu kant efin spale "Welch".

Why should the boys get any jail time?  The article clearly states the
vehicle was speeding.  It happened to be carrying the 15 year olds.
Sounds like they were kidnapped and taken along for the ride.  That car
obviously is the criminal here...throw that car in a 10x20 cell...and
no oil changes for 6 months!
