The court worker had a teenage passenger too...
Locigal recommendation: yank license, imprison driver (LBVH may agree).
Reality: slap on wrist.

First the cops run over and kill a sunbather, and get a paid vacation as a
reward for it. Now a court worker does a DUI with a teenage passenger, and
gets a paid vacation as a reward, also. Must be nice to have official
privileges, eh?

Not likely. I know just about everything anyone needs to know about
this area from my years living, speeding, and even litigating there.
Even though you might get away with this sh.t in Cuyahoga County, once
you cross the Medina County line (Wayne and Ashland are next):
1.) You DO NOT fuckin' speed (more than 10 over, anyway) on I-71! It
is the OHP's favorite 'huntin' zone'.
2.) You DO NOT fuckin' drive after drinking on I-71!
Nonetheless, while his job and his insurance rates may be screwed, the
traffic penalties are not likely to be all that much. First offense
DUI (3 days' jail, a short suspension, and a middlin' fine) and drop
the speeding. The child endangerment is a separate criminal charge.
